FAQs & Rules

Is there an age limit?

The tour is not recommended for children 5 and under. There will be no unaccompanied minors allowed without an adult.

In our eyes, Seniors are stars!  There is no age limit for them or anyone in between!

How do we pay for the tour?

During covid, we are only accepting credit card reservations. Contact-less prepaid admission can be made online via Eventbrite. To purchase tickets visit our tickets and events page http://weirdreno.com/tickets/

Can we get something to eat or drink before or after the tour?

Absolutely!  Grab a cup of coffee, alcoholic libation or snacks at one of the Renaissance cafes or bars, or book a fine dining experience at the legendary Shore Room overlooking the Truckee river.

Many area restaurants are open for dining, however we recommend calling for exact hours. For more information on neighboring food and drink locations visit renoriverwalk.org.

When should we arrive?

Check-in is 15 minutes before start time. Please be prompt.

We will not be able to hold up the group for late arrivals. If you are running late please text us at this number (775.750.8840) and we will make every attempt to connect you with the tour.

How do we exchange our tickets?

May be made for unreserved tour spaces in advance of the 24 hours prior to start time and funds can be applied toward a future tour ticket with no change fees.

Where should we park?

The Renaissance offers free parking and valet service for all Weird Reno patrons.

How long is the tour

The Weird Reno experience is approximately 90 minutes in duration with one hour of walking time.

Are pets and strollers on the tour?

Pets are not allowed on the tour.

Strollers are not recommended (see age restrictions listed elsewhere in FAQs).

What if I need to cancel?

Ticket Cancellation, Changes & Refunds
Attendees can receive refunds up to 24 hours prior to your tour start time subject to the conditions below:

1. You can receive an eVoucher to apply as payment toward a future tour purchases
2. You can receive a refund to the original form of payment

Paid Reservations
Full refund (minus Eventbrite’s ticketing fees) can be changed or cancelled 24 hours of prior to tour time.

“No Show” Policy: If reserved space is not cancelled 24 hours prior to the scheduled tour, the refund is forfeited.

Refunds: Full refund to original form of payment or eVoucher minus Eventbrite ticketing fee if cancelled 24 hours before tour.

Are there lockers or storage spaces?

We do not offer storage, coat checks or locker spaces.

Are there public restrooms available?

There are no public restrooms during our tour, you may use the facilities at our starting location. We do recommend using a restroom prior to arrival.

What should we wear?

Weird Reno is a light stroll. You may encounter of stairs, uneven pavement and spotty lighting.

Please dress for the weather and make sure your shoes are made for walkin’!  In colder weather gloves are recommended. You may want to bring your smart phone along to use as a flashlight and to capture the weirdest magical moments!
